Will NSE be allowed to trade on NSE? Stock exchange may seek Sebi’s nod after listing
NSE may seek permission from SEBI to allow its shares to trade on its own platform after its IPO, even though it will formally list on BSE. This "permitted to trade" route would give NSE shares access to a wider investor base. Current SEBI rules prevent an exchange from listing its own securities on its platform to avoid self-regulation.
