SUNIEL WADHWA INTERPRETS PVR INOX’S PROPOSAL TO CCI | 17 September, 2026

PVR Inox has proposed discontinuing its Virtual Print Fee (VPF) and replacing it with either an Exhibition Service Charge (ESC) or a Revised Revenue Share (RRS) arrangement. This proposal follows a Competition Commission of India (CCI) investigation into PVR Inox's VPF practices. The CCI has invited public comments on the proposed alternatives, which aim to address concerns about discriminatory treatment and market access for smaller producers.
