HPCL, Indigo to Asian Paints: 5 sectors at risk as crude surges 30% from July lows
Asian Paints is among five sectors at risk as crude oil prices surge over 30% from July lows, trading above $100 a barrel. The paint manufacturer could see its margins squeezed by higher raw-material costs, specifically solvents, resins, and petrochemical intermediates. This rise in crude prices follows fresh strikes in Saudi Arabia and concerns over global energy supply disruptions.
