Petronet LNG to set up 10 CBG plants with ₹1,200 crore joint venture
Petronet LNG has approved a 50:50 joint venture with Gruner Renewable Energy to establish 10 compressed biogas (CBG) plants across India. The project has an estimated capital outlay of ₹1,200 crore, with each plant having an 18 tonnes per day capacity. This initiative follows a recent decline in Petronet LNG's net profit and revenue for the June quarter.
