The company offers merchant banking services, including valuation and corporate advisory, AIF certification, management of open offers, buy-backs and delisting, and management of public IPOs, as well as rights issue, offer for sale, and qualified institutional placement services. It also provides merger and acquisition services, such as preparing pitch documents/information memorandums, performing valuations on targets, and calculating acquisition synergies for the acquirer, and engineering and advisory services for deals; strategic partnership services; advisory on capital rising; and valuation and corporate advisory services. The company was formerly known as Alpha Financial & Advisory Services Limited and changed its name to V. B. Desai Financial Services Limited in September 1985. V. B. Desai Financial Services Limited was incorporated in 1985 and is based in Mumbai, India.
