Gujarat Cotex Limited trades in textile fabrics in India. It also engages in the trading of plot lands; and hotel business. In addition, the company produces a range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, silk, linen, and blended materials; garments for fashion, retail, and corporate sectors; home textile products, such as bed linens, curtains, upholstery, and towels; industrial textiles for automotive, medical, and technical uses; and custom textile solutions. Further, it develops residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties; and provides real estate investment services. The company was formerly known as Octagon Industries Limited and changed its name to Gujarat Cotex Limited in January 2007. Gujarat Cotex Limited was incorporated in 1992 and is based in Surat, India.
