The company operates a fleet of trucks, trailers, tankers, vessels, and aircraft to transport goods and cargo; and acts as a clearing and forwarding agent. It also provides road freight services comprising client consultation, route planning, booking and scheduling, loading and packaging, en route management, unloading and delivery, documentation and reporting, and post-delivery support services; rail freight services, which include route optimization, cargo loading and securement, intermodal connectivity, and unloading and last-mile delivery coordination; and coastal shipment services, such as port handling and documentation and last-mile connectivity services. The company serves the iron and steel, paper, FMCG, glass, construction material manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, and other industries. Rapid Multimodal Logistics Limited was founded in 2005 and is based in Chennai, India.
