Jainex Aamcol Limited manufactures and sells gear hobs, special cutting and inspection tools, and precision accessories under the Aamcol brand in India. The company offers hobs for various applications, such as spur/helical gears, double helical herringbone gears, involute and key splines, serrations, ratchet wheels, chain sprocket wheels, HTD timer pulleys, worm gears, and duplex type hobs, as well as special hobs for blocked teeth, roughing-finishing multi thread hobs, and roughing finishing two section hobs. It also provides precision form relieved ground or unground profile cutters, such as single and double angle cutters, and convex/conclave cutters; and intricate profile cutters, including end mill type gear cutters, spline milling cutters, and turbine blade profile milling cutters. In addition, the company offers inspection tools and precision accessories, such as spline gauges, which are used to ascertain the acceptability of internal/external splines or serration dimensions; and spline mandrels, master gears, index plates, and serration drifts. Further, it provides heat treatment and tool sharpening services. The company serves the automobile industry, industrial and special gearbox manufacturers, machine tool manufacturers, and other customers. It exports its products. The company was formerly known as Anglo American Marine Co. Ltd. Jainex Aamcol Limited was incorporated in 1947 and is based in Mumbai, India.
